What an
exciting afternoon we had in our garden! We went out to weed and water it and
discovered it was time to pick our Parsnip. Wow! What a mission it was! Miss
McCartin and Mrs Stroud had to dig it up with a spade! It did NOT want to come
out! After lots of digging we finally got our two massive parsnips. We cut them
up into pieces and roasted them. Yummy! They tasted crunchy like chips and we
gobbled them up in seconds!
That is just about the biggest parsnip I have ever seen! I tasted your parsnip as well and is was delicious. Thank you for growing such wonderful food in your garden.
