This term we
are learning about our personal past. We are finding out about the history of
our family, differences and similarities between our childhood and our
parents/grandparents, and how stories are told and remembered.
This is one
of the activities we have done so far. After reading this book as a class we were
put into groups of 3 and brainstormed what things were like ‘then’ to ‘now’. We
found out that a lot has changed! We are looking forward to interviewing our
parents and grandparents to find out more about their childhoods.
Im sure you will find this topic very interesting room 2. I have done lots of research on our family tree and found we have relations that come from all over the world. They all have unique stories about how they lived. It makes me think that life is much easier now than in the past.
